 Global Science Gateway 는 15개국의 과학기술 DB, 학술정보, 연구결과, 정부기록물, 다양한 open source를 검색하는 접근점(one-stop searchable portal)을 제공한다.

 미국의 DOE(Department of Energy), 영국의 국립 도서관(Brtish Library)이 공동으로 개발한 Global Science Gateway 에서는 미국, 캐나다, 호주, 덴마크, 브라질, 프랑스, 영국, 독일, 네델란드, 일본 등 15개국의 과학기술 DB들을 통합검색(Federated search)할 수 있게 하고 있다.
 하나의 검색식 혹은 Advanced search (keyword, title, author)로 아래 web site들에서 제공하는 정보원에의 one-stop Access point를 제공한다.

 : Article@INIST 에서는 저널의 논문, 책, 회의자료, 박사학위논문 document를 제공.

: 남극에 관한 각종 spatial data(지도, 차트,지라학 정보, 관찰기록 등)와 데이터분석을 위한 online tools, GIS guideline 등을 제공.

 : DEFF의 e-Publication commitee, Technical University of Denmark에 의해 운영되며 독일과 세계 여러 대학, 연구기관, 학회발표자료 등을 Open access로 제공.

 : JST(Japan's Science and Technology Agency)의 S&T Database, 논문과 모든 정보원은 영문으로 번역되어 제공.
 : JST 397 Journals 164(453 articles), 108 proceedings, 8 reports etc.
 : JST, 일본의 여러 국립연구소, 대학의 연구결과물 제공. 모든 자료는 free of charge.
 : J-Stage의 archive site, 일본어/영어 interfaces
: 네델란드 연구기관, 대학의 출판물, datasets, 연구정보와 연구자 검색(디렉토리)등 제공
: Global Science Gateway를 개발한 DOE의 OST가 GSG open 이전부터 운영해 오던 site.
 Science.gov에서는 Deep web resources(일반 검색엔진으로는 접근하기 어려운 웹자원) 중 과학기술분야 연구를 위한 scientific information과 US R&D results를 제공하고 있고, 현재 많은 과학자들이 이용(usageover 50 million times per year)

 : SciELO(Scientific Electronic Library Online) - 브라질의 과학기술관련 저널 collection. FAPESP/BIREME/CNPq Project 관련

 : UK PMC(UK PubMed Central)와 NIH(US National Institutes of Health)의 생명과학 분야 저널 archives (free of charge, full-text와 peer-reviewed 연구출판물)
: 독일의 많은 대학도서관, 주요 연구기관들에 의해 maintain되고 있는  internet portal for scientific & scholarly information.
 물리, 생명과학, 공학, 법학, 경제학, 사회과학, 인문학 주제분야(별) 학술정보 제공.
